Reviews
Wow! What a beautiful place. The barn was absolutely spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The beds, bedding and showers were all perfect and we loved all the little thoughtful touches. We loved sitting on the deck, next to the river watching the lambs in the field and listening to the birds. A perfect weekend!

This is an amazing place, spotless and felt luxurious, incredibly comfortable and we felt everything had been thought of to make our stay special, from the welcome cakes to the little shoes to make our (small) walk to the hot tub easy.
We love walking /trails and we had several different walks where we could walk straight from the property into the great outdoors without using the car.
The pub at Clodock is also a must.
Would love to return.April 2026, Anna
Absolutely beautiful place just off the black mountains. We couldn’t fault the presentation, cleanliness or facilities; it was all just beautiful. Check-in was very smooth and finding the accommodation was easy with Sophia’s instructions. We will definitely be back!

We had the most amazing stay here. The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was incredibly well thought out, with lovely personal touches that made it feel really welcoming and special. The bathroom was gorgeous, the hot tub was fantastic, and everything was spotlessly clean.
We really appreciated the amount of information provided about the area — it made exploring so easy and stress-free.
Honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. It was the perfect place to celebrate and unwind, and we would 100% return. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful three night stay at the barn. Upon arrival, we found it to be absolutely spotless, and the host had left a small basket of goodies (including delicious cupcakes!) which made us feel right at home. The barn itself is incredible, and the peaceful setting was just what we needed. The hot tub is easy to use, and the wood burner was ideal for cosy nights in. Brilliant stay, would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything was perfectly designed, clean and private.
We also went on many hikes, were able to walk to the pub and could relax in the hot tub.
Highly recommend.December 2025, Dylan
We had an absolutely amazing week at the barn, and considering we did not travel by car it was perfect. There are local taxi services to and from the nearest station and we used home delivery from nearby supermarkets to get the main bulk of foods.. Anything else we would take a short walk to the village shop, where there are a couple of great pubs en route. The barn itself is incredible, it has everything you would need a more! They have really not missed anything and the cup cakes a welcome gift were such a welcome surprise after a day of travelling! If we could have stayed longer we would and I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Well equipped cottage in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views. Quite remote but that suited us and not too far from some lovely towns (Monmouth, Ross on Wye, Hay on Wye and Abergavenny) with fabulous walks on the doorstep. We actually extended our 4 night stay by 2 nights as we liked it so much and didn’t want to leave! Would definitely return and I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this fabulous and spacious barn set in beautiful countryside. The place was spotless and very well appointed with a lovely hot tub and private gazebo. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the area and the independent local shop in the village was a welcome surprise. We would not hesitate to recommend the barn.
